Chesapeake Bay
Surrounded by Virginia and Maryland, Chesapeake Bay is the largest estuary in the United States. The Susquehanna River, the longest river on the American East Coast, empties into Chesapeake Bay at Havre de Grace, Maryland. The Bay is a popular spot for boating, fishing and sailing. Church Hill Theatre
The Showcase of the Eastern Shore", a center for performing and visual arts, this theater features an Art Deco interior. Regular performances are held, call the Theatre for schedule. Kent Island Federation of Art
The goal of the Kent Island Federation of Art (KIFA) is to provide an opportunity for people of all ages to better appreciate the visual arts and to develop their own creative and artistic skills. Many items in our extensive gallery, as well as in our exhibits, are available for purchase at reasonable prices. Our Chesapeake Legacy
It's like a museum - but it's not. Our Chesapeake Legacy is an interactive, hands-on exhibit designed to make learning about our region both fun & memorable. The 1,650 square foot exhibit is located within the visitor center at Chesapeake Exploration Center at Kent Narrows. The center explores man's close relationship with the Bay and how that relationship has shapped our culture and history - and conversely - how we have shape the environment of the bay. Queen Anne's County Museum of Eastern Shore Life
ocated on the grounds of the 4-H Park on Rt. 18, entrance at Dulin Clark Rd. Artifacts, household furnishings, farm equipment, a blacksmith's shop and working printing press are all on display at this museum dedicated to life on the Eastern Shore. Open Saturdays and Sundays, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the summer. Opened during the Queen Anne’s County fair dates, as well as the Christmas Train Show held in the Home Arts Building, 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. Also open by appointment.
