Baltimore Museum of Art
The highlight of the museum is the Cone Collection, works by Matisse, Picasso, Cézanne, Manet, Degas, Gauguin, van Gogh, and Renoir, brought together by Baltimore sisters Claribel and Etta Cone. The building was designed by architect John Russell Pope. Since Sunday, October 1, 2006, the Baltimore Museum of Art and the Walters Art Museum have had totally free admission year-round as a result of grants given by Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
